These cars were manufactured starting in the 1969 model year through 1970 model year to appeal to the Groovy Set of young people with colorful floral full vinyl tops and matching floral inserts in the seats and door panels.

The Plymouths were called “Mod Tops” and they could be ordered with the floral vinyl top and/or the floral interior; they were separate options. The Dodges were called “Floral Tops” and while they had the floral vinyl tops, they all came with standard (non-floral) interiors.

What’s up with the mod/floral vinyl material used for the seat inserts and for the top of the car? Unfortunately, there is very little, if any, New Old Stock material remaining (outside of Grandma’s attic or barn).
